The theme of the 3rd contest of minicontos Estronho is "Baile de Debutantes " since the Estronho and Esquésito 15th anniversary in September 2011. Ah, okay ... I know ... The Estronho debut can not, because it is little boy? The Estronho is ... Estronho is, alas ... He can do everything. And this year in two categories!
REGULATION
Of Registration
a) may enroll authors of any state or country, since the texts are sent in English.
b) Minors may apply, provided that the documents sent to the responsible (if approved).
c) Applications, as well as participation in the event of approval of the texts are free.
Of Rules for Text
a) The texts must be strictly in accordance with the proposed theme: Baile de Debutantes .
b) Any subgenus of fantasy literature will be accepted.
c) LIMITS
c.1) In the category Miniconto , the limit is 1,600 characters , counting spaces;
c.2) In the category Nanoconto , the limit is of 140 characters, counting spaces;
d) No need of text to be unprecedented.
e) co-authored texts will be accepted, but in case of award, will count only as an author.
f) Each author may send as many texts as you like.
Submission of Material From
a) Registration begins January 15, 2011 and ends on May 15, 2011.
b) The submission of the texts should be done through the registration form
c) If the author wants to send more than one text, you should do so through separate submissions .
d) Upon registration the author will receive an email confirmation of receipt of your text. However, this confirmation does not guarantee the selection of the text or their acceptance in accordance with the rules.
Screening
a) The texts will be judged by a jury formed by the maintainers of the blogs: World Fantas , Arena Fantastic , Café ; Yesterdays and Alternate Universe.
b) will not be given advice on the texts that are not selected, as regards the selection criteria. Only comments on failure to comply could (not mandatory) be communicated.
c) There will be scored in favor nor against, previous publications or literary baggage of any kind, from the authors. The goal of this contest is to gather authors with quality materials, whether beginners or have some experience. What is analyzed is the text sent noo curriculum and the participant.
Results From
a) The results will be released until May 30th through the publisher's website and community on orkut and facebook. Only the top 3 finishers in each category will receive emails informing them of the outcome. Everyone else must look at the result in the mentioned places.
b) Authors not selected NOT receive emails about the selection.
Award From
a) The winners of both categories will each receive ALL titles published by Editora Estronho in the year 2011 (the those published before and after the end of the contest)
a1) The winner in minicontos author will be invited into one of the anthologies EDITOR ESTRONHO !
b) The runners-up of two categories, can (each) to choose five books published by Editora Estronho in 2011 (only those who have already been published by the release of results of the contest).
c) Third-place finishers from two categories, will (each) to choose three books published by Editora Estronho in 2011 (only those who have already been published by the disclosure the outcome of the contest)
Of Copyright and Publishing
a) The text entries will be published in the form of e-book or through the site and Estronho Esquésito respecting the name (or nickname) of authors, but without COMPENSATION ; to the authors. Your registration confirms your acceptance of these terms.
Disclosure
a) Estronho Esquésito and may use the names of authors selected for the contest or promotion of the site.
